I just received some stunning news...

I was looking up my first summer love that paid me any attention back. She was a very sweet, dark-skinned Alabaman girl I dated during summer '83.
I wanted to Facebook her to tell her how things turned out for me since that summer. How I am happily married now, am on my way to a better job, and how I found work as a part-time, freelance journalist. You know, stuff.
Mind you, I am happily married.
Following a hunch, since she was unavailable through facebook...I searched WorldVitalRecords.com. and voila! there she was.
I am in shock right now. Totally in shock right now. I found that she had died two years ago, at 40.
Wow...life sure has its twists doesn't it.

angust,Oh I am very sorry to hear about the loss of ths special lady..It is always so sad when we find out that a person that was dear to us has passed away, and we were not aware of it.Especialy so young.It was very sweet of you to try to locate her though to update her on your life and how you were doing and all.Again, sorry for the loss of your dear friend!!
