MALTA and the Maltese!!!!

I went to Malta and found it quite like home but with more sun. The local people are very friendly indeed and that all speak English. There are shops in the capital Valletta that are just like I would find at home. I found that city has beautiful architecture and interesting sights. I liked exploring the island of Malta with its lovely old churches. I went over to the island of Gozo for a few days and found the most gorgeous golden sandy beach that I really loved. I went to Comino for a day and had a wonderful time swimming in the crystal clear sea. Spring or autumn is a wonderful time to visit lovely Malta.

When I was a little girl a another little girl who lived across the road from me came from malta and i can remember thinking how special she was as she came from a country so far away, she never did talk much about it I guess she was too young when she left, but ever since then when ever I hear about Malta I think of her...
