I dont mind doing dishes, windows or mopping .. I however hate dusting. I hjate the fact that there is dust within a short time and it is time to start over! Which also makes me wonder why I have any knick-knacks? I have gotten rid of a lot of them but cant bare to part with some which still adds up to alot. *sigh* So what about you?

I hate anything that hurts my back (vacuuming, scrubbing tubs, sweeping, mopping) and anything that gets my hands wet (washing dishes, etc.). My favorite household job is laundry. I can throw it in and forget about it and go do something else for a while.

I feel for you, I have a bad back (got it carrying the twins) but I like mopping and such. I guess I like looking around for that short time seeing what I have done. Wish it would stay clean longer thou! Thanks for commenting!

Ithink - hi. To be honest, I hate all of it. I hate cleaning! If I was rich, I would have a maid so I never had to clean again for the rest of my life. But, since I do have to clean, I don't mind washing dishes either. My absolute most hated chore is cleaning the bathroom. I mean, I really hate it. I got rid of all my knick-knacks, similar to you down-sizing. It saves some work anyhow!

Oh my gosh, You're the first person I ever met who doesn't mind cleaning the bathroom. I guess it's the tub and the shower that drive me crazy!

I'm pretty okay doing most household chores. That's because from time to time I get the itch to do one thing or another because I saw something that needed to be done but was not being done, or it's necessary that the chore be completed immediately, or it's really something only I can handle so that the results are to my taste. But if I were to name three chores that I find pleasure in it will be doing the dishes (my absolute favorite because it's a mindless thing that relaxes me), scrubbing the bathroom, except that I really get all sweaty doing it, and ironing. I try to avoid sweeping because I've got a bad back, and dusting because the dust hurts me respiratory system. Still, you can depend on me for most anything around the house, even washing and waxing the car.

Have alot in common except that ironing thing .. hate doing that! My kids dont understand how I can like doing dishes as they hate it totally. I hated dishes when I was young too, strange how we can change our likes and dislikes isnt it? I have a bad back too but I try to just keep going I guess as we all do. Thanks for commenting.

I don't really have any knick-knacks. I have a few picture frames but that is it. I don't mind picking up toys or vacuuming. I absolutely hate laundry! I am such a procrastinator when it comes to laundry because I hate doing it so much. I don't mind putting it in the washer and then the dryer. I hate taking it out of the dryer and then folding it and putting it all away! I'd rather do almost anything else!

I dont mind laundry as long as the kids put their own away. Of course that still leaves me putting away mine and 3 other peoples clothes but at least I dont have to go upstairs to do those ones! Thanks for commenting.

Laundry. It may sound stupid because how hard is laundry? Ya throw it the washer and then move it to the dryer. But it seems like by the time I take it out of the dryer and fold/hang it all up and take a nice big breathe out and think "I'm done" I relize it's never done. Laundry is the never ending chore that is always there. lol. With just me and my boyfriend I'm always stopping to think "how the heck do I have so much laundry!?" So I'd have to say laundry because it seems like there is never light at the end of the tunnel...the tunnel goes on forever!

I love to cook and clean the house especially the bathroom. I love to organize the closet, the things in fridge and in the cupboards. Though I love cooking I really hate washing the dishes especially when there are lots of grease in the plates. I am also not a big fan of doing the laundry so big thanks to the washing machine.

I used to love cooking, sometimes I still really get into the mood to cook, normally not but I still do it and do alot from scratch as it is healthier and tastes better. I think it changed for me when the family got so big! lol Thanks for commenting.

Hi, Ithink! Great name! I can't think of anything even somewhat related to housework that I could like. I hate it all. I pray somebody will invent a self-cleaning house, or maybe I'll increase my earnings enough to get a house cleaner. It's a no-win job, because it's never finished. It also makes you all sweaty and dirty and gross. I've even thought about renting out a room and charging housework instead of rent.

In fact, I am a lazy person, but if I have no choice but to do some housework, I must hate wash clothes most, because in my mum's eyes, we can't clean clothes cleanly in the washing mashine, it's better to wash it by hand. As for dusting, I don't hate so much as you, I think if we dust it day by day, which can not make people feel tired.

Me too! I don't like dusting, as the dust particles irritate my nose. And you're right, the dust seems to accumulate in a short period of time. Since I can't beat the speed the dust build up, I tend to do the dusting once a week or every fortnight. But I'm okay with other chores that need washing such as doing the dishes and laundry as well as cleaning the toilet. As strange as it may sound, I think I like cleaning the bathroom, as it gives me some kind of satisfaction when I finally scrub all the tiles clean & shiny!

We seem to be alot alike as I clean the bathroom more willingly then I do dusting! I know that I have allergies to dust but that doesnt have anything to do with my hate of doing it, I dont know why just know I hate it! Thanks for commenting.

Like you, I also don't mind doing household chores. I love washing the dishes. Actually, that's my assigned chore in our house. The only part that I don't like about it is the desquamation or flaking of my skin. I just apply lotion after I finished wahing.=)

Washing dishes, without a doubt! I absolutely hate it! I think it comes from when I was younger...that was the only chore I had to do every single day. The dishes had to be done and put away BEFORE mom got home from work, or I was in for a talkin' to. hahaha. I also hate folding clothes, and putting them away. I actually like to dust though, weird, right?!

I hate ironing, mainly because it is a hassle setting it all up and i am really not good at it, I always end up with a sore back so needless to say I usually don't buy clothes that need a lot of ironing which can be done these days...

hi ithink! i also don't like dusting! the dusts can make me go sneezing endlessly! just a little dust and it would be enough to make me sneeze every now and then and i would consume a whole roll of tissue! but its not the chore i hate the most because i can remedy it by putting on a handkerchief or a towel over my mouth and nose. what i don't really like is washing clothes! its super tiring! i always get a backache after washing so many clothes. especially when i am washing my own clothes. i don't use the washing machine. i hand wash them. so its really tiring. it hurts in the legs and back for sitting down for at least an hour. that is why i now usually pay someone to do it for me.

I dont like dusting just cause it is time consuming plus the sneezing.. lol I hated washing clothes by hand, I used to have to do it and we had 5 kids at the time. HATED IT bad. Then we finally were able to have a washer and dryer ... one word .. heaven. LOL! Thanks for responding.

I think the one that I dislike the most would be cleaning the bathroom...I'm not sure why but it just seems to fall at the bottom of the pile and I just try to hurry through it. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

If you don't mind, can you come and do my windows and mopping? As for the dishes, most of my stuff goes into the dishwasher and, 9 times out of 10, the hubby washes what little is left in the sink since I do the cooking. But, I HATE cleaning the house. I do it on Sundays and I hate it. In order for me to do it the way it really should be done, it would take me the entire day, and possibly another half a day, to get it all done. So, in order to not waste my entire Sunday every Sunday cleaning, I allow myself about and hour and a half to two hours of cleaning.

LOL! Where do ya live? LOL! I sometimes wonder the time I would save getting a dishwasher but I dont ever see me really getting one. I spend way to much time cleaning or so my friends say but with 5 kids what choice does one really have? It does seem that no matter what you do there is something more that can be done thou, doesnt it? Thanks for commenting!

LOL! I know it probably sounds like my house is huge. It is a nice size. But, I figured no less than 2 hours per room would get everything clean the way it should be. When I do get around to doing a good cleaning like that...and I mean, cobwebs in the ceiling, the trims around the walls (baseboards I think is what those are called), dusting every little knick knack under, on and all around them, sweeping and mopping, and even cleaning off smudges on doors, walls and light switches...I also have a big dog who drools a lot and will shake his head and drool will go flying and land on walls...that means roughly 2 hours per room for me. Who has that kind of time? Not me! LOL! So, I just limit my cleaning to the basics which means I usually forgo mopping too! But, with 3 cats and that huge, drooly dog, my the time I am done mopping one room, it is already showing filth! LOL! Very frustrating to even care about keeping up with! I do not have any kids yet but, I can imagine how much harder it all is to keep up with with 5 kids than it is with 4 pets! LOL! You must have the patience and drive of a saint!

I hate housework to begin with. I'm not very domestic. But I don't mind dusting or scrubbing countertops, or even toilets. I don't mind doing laundry. However, I HATE folding laundry. There's good odds that once the laundry is dry, I will select my clothes out of the basket for a week without putting them away. I have no idea why this is. I especially hate folding my kids' clothes. From what I hear, though, a lot of people hate that part of the laundry. I also can't stand hand washing dishes - but I think that has more to do with getting my hands wet (I have this thing - after my hands get wet I need lotion IMMEDIATELY or they drive me crazy). I'd love to have a maid. Sigh.

I dont mind doing the laundry either, however I hate to fold it to go to my kids rooms and see it laying about. Im always like what was the sense of me folding it, however I still do! Ohh lotion, I use lots of it everyday. Im hooked, addicted whatever you want to call it. After dishes I go directly to the lotion. Thanks for commenting.

Hmm. When it comes to that, well I don't really mind garden chores that much. Or laundry. Though I try to beg off on chores most of the time, just for the principle of the matter.
