R u really bothered abt your star ranking?

i used to have 8 when i made my 100 th post, after that everyday my rating started to go 1 more up until its 10 now its 9 actually i dont care too much about my rating but when i see that its going down to 9 from 10 i get little bit upset and feel that i didnt write good enough but its good in some way it makes you to write more carefully when you see that your rating has gone down ...anyway happy mylottings

I can't lie, it sucks when my star drops, but I just keep in mind it can be raised as well. I have had my star down to a 7 a couple of times when arguing. Now I have learned not to argue and to just go on, it's not worth it.

There used to be a life before the stars in mylot. I must confess I do not understand how the star rating system works. Once upon a time I was a 9 and I have never budged from 7 for a long long long time. I see some really good participants languishing at 2 and 3 and some really terrible posters running around at 10. So to say that star system mystifies me is the truth.

Well truly speaking i didn't know about star rating,but after 100 posts suddenly i got 8 star with 79 popularity,but that day i read some where that some member intentionally give negative rating to down you,and i got the proof next day,it is reduced to 74 with 7 stars,and i'm very sad to see that my point gone to 68today.I dont know why people do this,i can swear that i have given 98% positive rating to all good response.Finally though it hurts ,still i'll not take into heart,and i'll continue my good work here.Thanks,regards

I have a 9 star ranking.I would love to reach 10.If you have a low star ranking doesn't matter because it doesn't affect your earnings.try to be active on mylot and post quality discussions.you will definitely reach the 10 star.

I've never really given a dang about my star rating, heh. I'm -now- a ten star, but I wasn't always. It's just not something I feel like obsessing over. So some people might dislike me enough to rate me negatively, big whoop! I disagree and debate with alot of people. It's bound to happen. Doesn't mean my opinion's worth less. Or theirs is. Just them feeling as if they should mark me negatively. I don't have to mark them positively or negatively either, so... I just don't care, lol.

yes, I want to reach the 10th star... I'm more bothered by my star rather than my earning... I also feel bad if my star comes down... LOLs
