Is anyone here excited or at least is going to be watching I love Betty La Fea starring Bea Alonzo? Lol. Well, as for me I'm really looking forward to its airing since this would showcase a different side of Bea Alonzo. The wacky side and not the ones that we're used to seeing for years which is all about drama. Any thoughts?

She is paired with John Lloyd again, what else not to watch this series. And please do watch because I knew someone from the production part and I know how hard they did for this show. The ecomoda manila was cool!

Hi there, Wow. That's actually good. You know someone from the production. I'm sure this would be followed by the fans of John Lloyd and Bea. Thanks for responding and sharing your views.

I'll watch it when I can, but not really for the same reasons a lot of people might think... Thing is, I -love- the set of the American Ugly Betty (I love a lot of things in Ugly Betty, POC characters and gender portrayals not the least of them) and when I saw that feature they did on the set of Betty La Fea Philippines, I just really really want to see the outcome. ABS reportedly spent millions on it and I am, admittedly, really interested in seeing it.

Naturally, when there's an upcoming show people's interest would be heightened up. Just like you I'm interested but I think I won't watch it religiously. Lol. Thank you for responding.

LOL! I agree though. I'm not really into telenovelas either, so I doubt I'll watch it religiously. But since I had a big interest in Ugly Betty before, I thought watching this would be a fun experience... And, again, the setting. I do love settings. ;p Your welcome! Thanks for the topic starter too. :D

I think I will. But if it's not John Lloyd, I won't watch. No one can match Lloydie for Bea (LOL). Good light evening to you jaded.

She really do looks like the original Betty La Fea and even John Lloyd looks like that Armando fellow. I just don't know if they could still twist the plot of the story or will they copy the original story of it but it is something to look forward to. The only question is why is it we are always making a remake from previous foreign novels? Don't we have any writers left, good writes I mean.

Honestly, I don't know why that's the trend right now. lol. They've been franchising and franchising these days. I see your point. Lol. Our originality's missing. I hope they'd be able to make the Philippine version interesting. Thank you for responding.
