Last night, I was watching the men's triathlon on DVR. For those of you who don't know what triathlon is, you swim a kilometer and a half, you bike for six kilometers, and you run for ten kilometers. All one after the other with no break. The guy who won Jan Frodeno had never won a major competition in his entire career until yesterday. That's what I like about the Olympics. Whatever is supposed to happen on event day it's really anybody's game especially in the sports where it's just whose the fastest today. In diving or gymnastics, you have to have difficulty levels. You can't just go out there and perform a two and a half twisting somersault if you've never done on. In running, it's different. I like that.
