How About A Roadside Female?

This is a follow up question on my last question: "Under What Circumstances Would You Pick Up A Hitchhiker?" According to the responses to this question, it is patently obvious that the vast majority of us would not pick up a hitchhiker. However, what if the person seemingly in distress was an obvious female? By obvious female, I mean one with all the common physical attributes of a female. In other words, you have no doubt this is a female. Now, I know that there are males who impersonate females, but in a roadside situation that would be a stretch. Would you stop? This question would be just as appropriate for women as for men.

Given that women are as capable of committing violent crimes as men and there maybe accomplices hiding I dont think I'd be any more likely to stop. If I could see that someone (male/female/young/old) was in obvious distress I'd probably drive on a bit and then call the police to check it out. Unfortunately, although the majority of people are likely to be good honest citizens, you have to consider your own safety and that of your passengers.

I wouldnt pick up a hitch hiker no, but that is sort of funny, cause id ont drive and neither does my hubby, he hitch hikes sometimes to get to work and around anywhere he has to go. Surprisingly most people that pick him up are religious people, and people who used to have to hitch hike. He just said sometimes soccor moms pick him up also. maybe they feel bad for him. lol.
