if you were related to a serial killer? it could be a parent or a sibling etc.. after all.. Aileen Wuornos gave up a baby for adoption and who knows where he/she is so if you were adopted and had a choice of not knowing your roots or knowing but finding out that there were some SERIOUS and literal skeletons in your families closet would you want to know??

i guess by the age of finding out which is usually 18 or later you already know who you are to the point of knowing if you were gonna go crazy or something

i'm adopted. ya i would like to know everything even it was something bad. its better to know something about ur family then nothing at all. for me i know nothing not even when i was born. all the information thts on me is false and had to be made up. so for me its a big thing and it would tell me a little about myself and where i came from and my background.

Yes, I think I have the right to know where I came from and who are my parents. I don't mind what kind of people they are. The most important factor here, I want to know why did they gave me away. And though I will and still accept them as my parents.

I am not adopted. So, i am unable to say how it will feel and how i will react in such a situation. But it will definitely be a difficult thing to decide.

i like to read and watch things on serial killers but to find out i was kin to one would be so weird i dont think i would want to know.. its not like i admire then and like that they did it but i like to figure out how their mind works and if its mental problems etc.. if i knew i was kin to them i would wonder if i inherited their insanity lol

I would want to know and not because I wanted to know why I was given up. I would want to know just because its the truth. I would rather this information come from my adoptive parents when age appropiate rather than it seem as some bad taboo thing that somebody tried to hide. Plus I feel that with todays technology and resources it would only be a matter of time before you found out. Who cares that there are skeletons in the closet, I don't think that this mandates the person that you are or who you become.
