I have just received an email from 10 downing street, genuine as I petition the government all the time, but this one was one I signed more as a joke than a serious topic whilst signing for something else and this is their response which I thought was amazing. It is all to do with Jeremy Clarkson being voted for as the next Prime Minister, http://www.number10.gov.uk/Page16590 Click through to have a giggle.

That was very good, who would have thought that they would take the time to do something like that. I thought it was very good and quite witty! I did not even know that there was a website for number 10 so I have also learnt something new and have added to my favourites! When I get the chance I will have a further look at it. Thanx for sharing that I enjoyed it!

Hi Gemini_rose, It was when it got to the bit where it said 'maybe not' that I was really laughing. It is a very interesting site and not once have I not received a reply back even if it has taken a few months, I have always received a personal reply until this posting reply today but I was in stitches over it. Hi Raydene, Jeremy Clarkson is a presenter of a show called Top Gear not a politician at all but is very outspoken in his views and is/was never a consideration really for Prime Minister but someone started a petition saying they thought he ought to be and everyone with a sense of humour and was fed up with the governmen as it is signed. That do email back to everybody that does email them as the serious ones I have parcipated in have all been replied to also at various stages along the debate. Ellie :D

LOL I heard about that on the news earlier - seemingly the government were criticised for wasting time and money! They can't win can they? Their response was that a member of staff made the film in their own time - I wish more people would appreciate the humour like you have! xxx
