If you heard about what is happening now here in Mindanao, are you still willing to visit Mindanao? I've been boasting about White water rafting in Cagayan de Oro, white beautiful beaches in Camiguin, the stunning Maria Cristina Falls in Iligan and so on. But I am not certain now if foreigners or even Filipinos from Luzon or Visayas still want to visit those places I've mentioned, places that are found in different parts of Mindanao.

given an opportunity, I would love to visit davao. ive heard that its not on;y beautiful there but the people are also very warm. but not these days. yes, there is no perfectly safe place in the philippines, not even on every part of the planet. but mindanao is really high risk these days.

I have never been to Mindanao... eventhough my father is from Bukidnon... but i am sure that it is a beautiful place... but right now... i would stay away from the place... even if i am given free airline tickets... even tourist are advised not to visit not only Mindanao... but the whole Philippines as well...

we are planning to have an educational tour this coming october to cagayan de oro city and iligan, some of our classmates worried about the trip but i encourage them to pursue our plan, although iligan is part of lanao but all people there are different to those places that are dominated by muslim rebels. we are now preparing the papers for the trip. I live here in davao, based on the survey davao is among of the top 20th cities all over asia that are safe to visit and live. if you don't want to vist cagayan de oro city, iligan, zamboanga and ozamiz. you can make a happy trip here in davao.

Very much Long. Mindanao actually is not a risky place to visit.Let’s not give up hope in finding the elusive peace in Mindanao .Peace cannot be achieved through war. There are no victors only victims.I just hope and pray that the fighting between the government troopers and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front must end the soonest for us to enjoy the beauty of the place. If I go back to Butuan I'll visit you in CDO.
