to read and respond to a discussion which runs a near full page or even more than a page (I doubt whether any one has crossed more than one page)? Are you interested to go through a response, a full page response, at least? Sometimes i get bored and just glance through it only! Or i will see the end portion only where normally you can find a question or an answer!

i glance through it.. i dont have the time to read the whole thing when i have so many friends i try to keep up with (and do a bad job at as is) so reading something huge is a problem.. not to mention i usually lose interest quickly.. unless you are talking about reading other peoples replies to their post then i dont do that unless i feel that my answer might be similar to others and that way i can maybe think of something extra to add

Well i ignore long topic ,i dont have time to read all the things and give response,i read full lines if discussion subject is confined to 15 lines maximum.Otherwise i ignore those.

To me it depends if the discussion is something i really am interested in or not. If it starts out and i find it stupid i would give up on it.

I agree that a full page is much too long. The person posting probably needs to break their thought down into two or three postings. It is not likely that they have stayed completely on the same subject for that many words.
