Lotions, potions and concoctions.

I was going through my bathroom the other day, cleaning out my cabinet, and I realized that I have so many bottles of lotions, cleansers and hair products that are half used. I buy them, they work for a while, then I start to not like them and look for something different. I know at least a couple of them I have not used in years, so I threw them out. But I hate doing that- it's such a waste. I have to stop buying stuff and start using up what I have. One bottle was empty, but somehow ended up back in the cabinet. Do you do the same thing? Or are you better than me about using things up that you buy? How long do you keep them before you throw them out?

Sometimes that happens to me. I might really like a product and it works for me but them all of a sudden I use another one or try something new and all of a sudden my attention is directed towards that product. I do however try to use one up before I buy another one just because this helps me save a little money. I also work in an office with a bunch of females who use lotion as well, so if I feel that it's not working for me anymore, I bring it to work and share with my co-workers. They appreciate it and every now and then they bring something in that also helps me out.

I used to do that. There were several available for anyone to use at work. But now that I am a SAHM, I can't do that anymore. Hubby works with all men, and I don't think they'd appreciate my melon and cucumber hand lotion the way the women I used to work with did!

I have probably a dozen different lotions in the house. I am always buying new ones. I had to pitch a bottle last week that I have had for years because it got all runny looking. EWE I don't normally pay attention to how long I keep them, but I know I had that one before I moved here, so at least 2 years.

I try to use the shampoos and conditioners up before i get a new one out. I have a brand new of each in my cupboard at all times. As for hairspray mouuse etc...I tend to use them so rarely that they sit in my cupboards for ages...years even and some ive tossed out because by the time i go to use them again..i bought them for a special event..they dont work anymore.
