I like easy microwavable foods when it's just me and the kids, and if I don't feel like cooking. the boys aren't that picky either, they mostly eat what I put in front of them they are big on grilled cheese, or canned spaghetti and meat balls.

I open a can of Campbell's Chunky Chicken Soup, pour it in a large plastic cup, microwave it for 2 minutes and I have dinner. If there is someone else eating, I open a second can...can even be another flavor!

Cooking pasta is one of my fave quickie meal. I just boil whatever pasta is available, open a can of tuna or sardines, mix them together and I'm good to go, I sometimes add cheese if I'm not lazy enough. Other times I mix tomato sauce with real tomatoes and mix them in a heated pan and that's my sauce. Another one is to scramble or fry or boil eggs, I like eating eggs no matter how they are cooked, I eat them with rice or bread. Now I'm hungry..

My all time favorite lunch is grilled cheese and tomato soup. Next in line is peanutbutter and jelly with potato chips. Neither are expensive and so yummy. Macaroni and cheese is another easy dish along with tuna. I like simple lunches or dinners.

My husband is really good at making homemade pizza. He puts all kinds of exotic things on them like seafood, oriental vegetables, different kinds of mushrooms, interesting kinds of cheeses.... all kinds of things that one would never think to put on a pizza. I absolutely love his homemade pizzas. They're the best pizzas in the world.

Definitely whole grain pasta with marinara sauce is an easy, cheap, and healthy meal. I also like to make quick veggie stir fry with (store brand) $1 frozen veggie mixes, some soy sauce, and garlic then serve with brown rice.
