i do. everyday, i have to be on the elliptical trainer for 30 minutes, sometimes i go jogging or go to the gym. but mind you, it takes a lot of motivation to accomplish this... and now, im really just not in the mood to do anything physical! is exercise a part of your daily routine? what motivates you to do so?

Hi, After reading this discussion, I feel that I am extremely lack of exercise. I always busy with my homeworks and study until I forgot about exercise. I am going to have a better planning for my exercise. If I do not plan properly, my health is surely in danger.

exercise is really good for our well-being. though, sometimes we get so lazy, we should fight it and be motivated. Good luck in you planning, i hope it pushes thru!

Hi there lipsticknladdles! I do not really do any specific exercise everyday. But I do have lots of physical activities daily. As a teacher, I would move from one building to another in our university in between classes. At present, I do consider that as my exercise. During weekends, if the weather permits, I walk my dogs. That, I believe is a good exercise. I do not do it regularly though.

i guess thats good enough. it is important to enjoy what we're doing, that makes exercise a bit exciting....my daily routine in my elliptical trainer bores me a lot. i would rather walk from buldings to buildings but all i have here is a freeway, lol.

We do physical work, you could call it exercise.. We do flea markets every day of the week.. My husband is disabled and can't work on a regular everyday job, but since we have worked all of our lives, we started doing flea marketing and have a great time doing it everyday.. Most weeks we work 7 days, unless he has doctors appointments.. This week we did take today off as we were both so worn out we had to stop for awhile.. It is exercise and although my husband can't do that much physical work, he tries to get in as much walking as he can, he has PAD and he has to walk as much as possible.. I do stay busy and I am used to doing physical work on a daily basis, so we do get quite a bit of exercise although it is not a regular exercise program.. We do it for the fun of it and to make extra money for everyday living expenses.. Also we became empty nesters last December and are not used to having an empty house.. We are on the go all of the time and enjoy it trememndously..

No I dont exercise everyday, but I do go to the gym 4 days a week I need at least 1 day off in the week and I dont have time to work out on the weekend. But 4 days a week for me is good enough. I just started going 4 days a week a few days ago and ive lost close to 10 lbs I would like to go 5 days a week but im usally to tired since most of my workout is cardio.

When I was a few years younger excercise was a huge part of my daily routine. I use to do physical training during (R.O.T.C.) then I would come home and run at least a mile and do some calisthenics and then usually dance of an evening. Now that I have two kids its not exactly like that. I definitely need to start excercising more it just seems to be such a hassle. I wish that I just had an hour a day that I could just go work out. My body no longer looks the way I would like it to and it is very disappointing to me. I think I am going to invest in a jogging stroller maybe.

routines do change when there are kids. and moms tend to get so busy and hardly find the time to exercise. but we must take care of ourselves so we can take care of them. and of course, if we are satisfied with our body, we can have a more healthy self-esteem.

Well, I always thought I didn't have time to exercise. I always wanted to walk but didn't think I had the time. Recently I hurt my shoulder and I have been going to physical therapy and sitting there for an hour, 3 times a week. I sit there thinking...'If I have time to sit here, I surely could make time to walk on the other days'. So I just started walking at least 3 times a week.

oh thats good that you finally found the time to take your walk. When i was in VA, hubby & I took afternoon walks for an hour or so, but when we moved, we can no longer do it,the place where we live now is full of freeways. hope ur shoulder gets better.
