is there a room or place to ask questions about this place....I wanna put my picture on here and I don't know how........Can people just chat back and worth on these messages and still get paid? If so since my life seems to be soo unforfilling right now would anyone like to occupy me? And we could have a conversation about life and why I keep finding these wierd little worms on my plants that sit on my window seal inside my apartment.

There are tons of interests here so I'm sure if you just keep looking you'll find somewhere to discuss the things you want to discuss. Chit-chat isn't really the kind of thing they want us doing but if you can make it a discussion it's alright.
Like the worm issue...perhaps in the home maker or cleaning section you could explain your problem in detail and ask if anyone else has this problem and how to fix it.
As for your life issues, there is a great interest entitled "life" where you could post about specific issues and get everybody's opinions. Check my interests on my profile for ideas!

Oh and the interest "mylot.com" is a good one to ask questions about the site (just make sure they are questions that can't be found in the FAQs and guidelines). Again, that's also listed under my interests.

There isn't really a place to just chat about stuff. You have to start a discussion about whatever and then people can respond and chat within your discussion.
As for your picture, as long as it is already on your computer:
Go to preferences on the top left edge of this page. There you can browse for and set your picture as your avatar.
You can also upload other pictures to your home page.
