It Really Saddens Me When People...

It really saddens me when I see some responses that are sort of attacking someone's discussion. I myself have experienced that in some of the topics I started. Well, for me it is just alright to be scrutinized and challenged because we all have different views and perspectives on things 'round here but being criticized for something you personally believe in just makes the whole stuff deeply upsetting. 
. Have you ever experienced that too regardless on how tactful and careful you become?
My main reason for joining here is to have fun. And to establish friendship with people i get along with some discussions is what i consider a secondary gain. Fortunately, this site has made me know a lot of good friends whom I did not imagine in my entire life could be possible. Nobody is perfect and we just can't please everyone or make them turn into someone they are not. I just hope that next time each mylotter will be tactful enough to remember that the originators of the topics they respond to are humans who also have feelings that could hurt.

yep!it's really a sad thing ...i do have noticed some those kinda posts but luckily i have not received any that type of responses in ma mails so far..neglect those things..it mainly depends upon the mood of a person..don't worry about it..it's our mylotters..it's like having a argument and small tussles among our family..leave them and continue to posts .. am there to support you as a sister...

I don't mind heated debates, and I think the challenge of presenting your point of view without resorting to name calling is great. But from time to time, maybe I've done some minor name calling too. Some of the subject matter here is light and some is pretty controversial. If someone is posting a controversial subject, they know that they are going to get passionate responses.
