I'm managing an online auction to benefit my church. The bidding opens October 1. I need more ideas about how to get people to the auction website. Have you had any success in driving people to a website? What worked for you?
One of the objectives toward that goal is to put more email addresses on the site to go to the periodic promotional emails. I can't just buy lists and spam them. I need email addresses of folks that I think might be interested in the auction or in supporting our church effort to retire the mortgage and start a new building fund.
So I also need to know how to get people to refer their friends to the website.
I appreciate the creative problem solving of myLotters. So HELP!

I remember an auction site in our country offered free load for
every sign up. And also, they offer free load to every referral
that the members get.
I think you should try to do that too. Maybe you can give coupons
or something.
Another traffic driver I guess is Twitter. You make a short post
about it with the url in it.
Have a nice day!

I think I figured out a way to put it on Twitter. Thanks.
What is a free "load"?
