Can you make out of fake?

If you're found with a fake note and can,t explain how you got it, can you be arrested?

hi hbm...i read about someone who had a fake euro note and didn't know it. he gave it to a cab driver who recognized it as fake. the driver called the police and the police arrested the person who passed the fake note. the person was interrogated and put in jail. and is awaiting trial. the laws may very in different countries.

forgive me...it was the cab driver who gave him the fake note as change. the next day he used it in a shop and the shop owner called the police.
