Obviously they are looking only to reach a no posts target. There are some who misinterpret the discussion, but most of them are in a hurry to earn money here. They are lost to the fact that mylot pays for quality, not qantity

i do agree with u!! but this is also a fact that people who post the discussion make the description part sooooo long!!! which makes other people tired to read the discussion!

Hi magna,I do read every detail before responding! But I will admit when I was new there is one that I misinterpret the meaning and actually feel bad about it because I went to a different tangent! But there are some discussion that it's look like a novel to me also, but I try my best and take time before responding. Have a good day!

Tell me about it - I had one recently that I posted just to see if that would happen. I posted it under myLot.com (now, isn't that a clue - a BIG clue - to what the topic is about?) and asked if readers were being good myLot neighbors (I left out the 'myLot' name in the title). I then went on to describe in the body of the discussion what I mean - and it included the fact that some people only read the title and respond without actually knowing what the discussion is about. Well, DANGED if the VERY first responder didn't tell me how she's a good neighbor helping with the neighbor's kids and pets, and making her yard look nice and everything. The woman never even read a single word of the discussion - nor did she take note to the interest under which it was posted!!! I have yet to comment on her response. I was too likely to be sarcastic, so I've waited until I can be more polite. But, it was great - I set the bait and caught that fish on the first cast!! Even I, a natural cynic, wasn't expecting success so quickly!! LOL

These are usually people who are just trying to raise their post count quickly. Some will go as far as pasting the same response in numerous discussions thinking that this will greatly increase their earnings. I find it funny that when I actually take the time to read and reply some members will mark me down simply because I had a different view and shared it honestly. Oh well, can't please them all right?

unfortunately i have done that more often then i would like to admit, but recently i replied and had someone remark back about it, it was brought to my attn that i missed the main point of the topic, so i ahve made a more conscious effort to read all of the post not just the title. I dont do it out of laziness but in some cases, the title is so specific, you wouldnt think they could elaborate much on it from their end.

Ya Ya. You are correct. Even I have faced like that. I just get confused with that. Hehe. It makes me read my own description again. Hehe. Just ignore them and pass on to the next. Happy mylotting.

Haha, No I have not yet come across with readers like that. But I do came up with people who post response just for the purpose of posting, like people who says thank you a lot without even including some explanation on it. I am always like that but I am trying my best not. I am making an effort to respond responsibly and post with some substance on it. and of course I read your topic first before I made a response. Just a suggestion though, you should have made a title that is completely different from the description so you'll know who among are those who never bother to read the description, just for fun LOL
