Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there are some candy bars that you really love but you miss so much because they're either no longer produced or no longer sold in nearby stores or even in your country?
Me, I really miss BarNone (long twin chocolate wafer bars in a pack) and Lion (sort of rice crispies with caramel and covered with chocolate). I'm not sure if they're still sold in other countries than mine (I'm from the Philippines). I also miss Three Musketeers. It's hard to look for it along with Milky Way. They taste really great but I wonder why they're no longer available in the Philippine Market.
Speaking of Milky Way and Three Musketeers, would you believe that I found them being sold in a hardware store once? Hahaha, yes, hardware store. I think it was a year ago or more when I found them. But now, I can only find Milky Way in one special store but they currently have the "more caramel" type of Milky Way in stock. I haven't tasted it but my mom and brother think the original Milky Way tastes a lot better. And by the way, in exchange of Milky Way and Three Musketeers, they now sell Hershey bars

Hi roniroxas!
Wow, really? OMG, I would love to buy and get to taste them again. I went to Greenhills last week and the store I know of is one store in Shoppesville at some corner of the building. It also sells some toys, clothes, etc. It's the only store I know of that sells Milky Way but what they had in stock was the more caramel type. Is that the same store you are referring to?
And I hope to see the one in Makati too. It's quite far though but we get to visit Makati sometimes. I'll make sure to look for it once we get the chance to go there.
Have a great day and thank you very much for the information!

5th Avenue candy bar, I think it even had a song that went with it. I haven't seen those candy bars in years. I like Milky Way the way they were, more caramel is good but I get a sugar high when there's too much.

My little daughter was very fond of Spearmint Tic Tacs - which WalMart recently stopped carrying. We looked everywhere and eventually found them again in a few gasoline station convenience stores... but it was very strange that they disappeared.
My wife tells also about her grandmother, who years ago used to make a chocolate cake with frosting on top that was about the consistency of fudge. I never sampled it, but the story perpetuates my interest...
Speaking of fudge, one of my favior vacation places is an island in the Great Lakes - Mackinac Island. One of the features that makes this island famous is its fudge makers. Mackinac Island Fudge is also produced commercially and incorporated into an ice cream variety (called, "Mackinac Island Fudge",) which I buy frequently and have fond memories of the island.
