Can Jerry Seinfeld save Microsoft?

To me, this is quite funny. Apparently Microsoft is realizing that their products is being completely beat down by Vista not working properly, by Mac and those crazy "I'M a Mac" commercials. They have decided to enlist Jerry Seinfeld in their latest $300 million dollar advertising campaign. To me, this seems almost like the are bribing Seinfeld: He will appear with Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates in ads and receive about $10 million. $10 Million JUST for a few ads! Two key points in the article that made me chuckle: 1. Microsoft executives privately acknowledge that Windows — the company's most important brand — has grown stale and has been battered by Apple's "Mac vs. PC" ads. 2. I would LOVE to have a Mac, but the few computer games that I do play are PC only. Plus, hubby just bought me a top of the line PC a few months ago and I think he would kill me if I traded it for a mac.
