where did you first see this breed of dog?

Hi! I forgot where I first saw pugs but what's really stuck in my memory of pugs is the pug from the movie "Men in Black". It's really funny because the pug speaks and even sings. Sort of a comic relief character from the movie.

I can't remember the first time I saw a pug. I grew up watching dog shows, so I was very familiar with a lot of dog breeds at a very young age. Plus pugs are popular in movies and television. But I can definitely remember the moment I fell in love with the breed. I was at the dog park, and a lady brought her tiny pug puppy. She had just gotten him, so he was probably only 8-10 weeks old. His name was Tater Tot and it was love at first sight. I sat down on the ground with him, and he'd climb in my lap or hide under my legs when the bigger dogs would get too close! And at one point he picked up a stick in his mouth, then another dog came and took it away from him. It just broke my heart! He was so sweet! I wanted to take him home with me, but he belonged to someone so I knew I couldn't do that. But ever since then, pugs have been my favorite dogs!
