threading hair removal

Has anyone done this? I am going this afternoon. I read it can last up to 6 weeks, which would be AWESOME. i am a very hair girl! its gross, i know. plus my hair is thick and dark, so when it starts to grow back, everyone looks at my eyebrows when they talk to me. I have heard very good things about threading, but just wanted to hear everyone's opinion. do you like it better than waxing? waxing doesnt bother me, but it doesnt seem to last very long, and i've been going for about 2 years now. thoughts?
