Parents with add and adhd kids how do you deal with the situation?

My step son has add/adhd and autistic. He is very cute and brilliant. But he is very squirmy, loud, clumsy. What do you do or can do to help your kids do better?

Hi succed Personally I have little experience with this but it must be mutually difficult to understand each other. Understanding and empathy are the key words I guess and also with proper medical help this can be controlled to great extent. I guess, the parents of the child with add/adhd/autism need special counseling as well. Kudos to them!!

Thanks, he is very sweet boy and he just can't help being so hyper. The thing is we cannot bring him over to friends house because of his over reactive attention. It is too embarrassing.
