apple iphone has launced in india!!

its finally here after the long wait!!! has anyone grabbed this opportunity i thought the iphone will be priced around 10k as in the us markets, but the prices in India are a little high .. the iphone costs around 30k to 36k for the latest two models.. 8Gb and16Gb.. which has the 3G functionality!!1 have you got this iphone!!! i am waiting to lay my hands on it!!

can any 1 tell me the cost for the basic modem ,and i herd lot of disadvantage you cant forward message and cant use bluetooth head phone and can any 1 tell me more funtions of iphone

there are some features that are not pleasing but still i don know why so many people area after it!! including me!!

yes the phone was launched in singapore at 12mn today too. i didn't make it for the launch event but i heard there was fireworks. i think the price of the phone is tied to the amount of monthly subscription. the US$199 phones were tied to a US$70/month plan. maybe it's more expensive where you are because of the relatively cheap plans. i am going to buy my phone later. the phone price here is dependent on the subscription plan I sign. for the most expensive plan (S$190), the 16GB iPhone is free. for the lowest end plan, the 16GB will cost S$848. cheers ;p
