wow!!! it is so lucky that no one got hurt!!!!!

guess what? my mom was cooking today... when the burner EXPLODED!!!! yes, it did... and all the glass covering the burner was all shattered... wow... it was so lucky that my mom was away from the burner at that time, or she would have been really hurt... its kind of scary when things like these happen at home.. maybe because a home is where most of us get securiy and sentury, and when things like this happen, it really throws us off balance.. we are getting a new burner soon... but for now, i think what we will be having is microwaved food... which is not bad, considering it is my mom, aka the best cook ever, is cooking... damn... all i can think about is how lucky we are that no one is seriously hurt!!! well, that will be horrible!!!

Hi Raclie, I am also relieved to hear that no one got hurt especially as your mother was cooking at the time. Thankfully all are okay and you will just have to enjoy microwave meals until a new burner is obtained. Ellie :D

yeah... she just went to the sink to wash her hands when it blew up... and we got a new one the next day... so i think we feel safer now....

Thank God nobody was hurt.. I feel happy for you. It happened to me too once.. I had put some dal in the pressure pan to cook and had just left the kitchen to get something. When i returned i saw that the pressure pan had burst with hot dal spread all over the kitchen.. Be safe. Happy mylotting

Your mother is really lucky that she had stepped away from the burner. She could have been seriously injured. It is also really lucky that no one else in the house was close enough to get hurt.

Oh my god ! As you say hopefully noone got hurt ! wow ! :s Don't use burner lol it is too dangerous really ! A undermaintenance of it can lead to dramatic situations :( It's better getting a microwave of some newer technology like... Oh well i can't remember the name of it.... d'uh..
