I am officially sick of washed up, marginally talented recording artists (yes, Jessica Simpson I am talking about you)recording a country record because they know it's an easy way to make a buck. They couldn't cut the mustard where they were so they record a new record and add a steel guitar to it, maybe a fiddle or two. Now they are a country star. When I listen to country music I listen to good country music. I hate garbage, and music made which serves no other purpose than making money doesn't really appeal to me as much as it once did. I'm not saying I don't like a little ear candy now and then, but the best music says something beneficial to the world. The video for Simpson's "Come On Over", a mediocre song at best, is a joke. It's three minutes of her posing and pouting and what the hell does that have to do with music? Spokesman out.

Ok so i agree that some people dont belong on the COuntry music stations, such as Jessica...but you said they do it because its an easy way to make a buck. I see you are a fan of good country music, but you almost make it sound like those who chose to go into that genre of music did it because its easier than any other...and to that i would have to disagree. Most of the hottest country artists out there are very talented and didnt choose their career because it was "easy"
