should i have a girl friend at the age of 17?

What do i realy need a girl friend for, why will i need it?, is it important for me, wont it have an effect in my every day life?. what do i do, am realy confuse, i dont know if i should go and get one. I dont think i will need one now.

you can have a girlfriend at the age of 17 but make sure you love her a lot because girls are very soft at that age , when they are very young when they grow they can kick your butts
