how much do we really know

not to get too philosophical but how much do we really know about people? No matter how well you think you know someone,do you ever really know them? Have you ever thought you knew someone and they proved to you that you didint?

i don't think we can ever really, truly know someone. sometimes what you see is something that the person is presenting to others, but will never disclose what's on the inside, what is truly going on inside their head, or who they truly are.
