i found my best friend @ grade school!!!

I have a friend that I meet when I started kindergarten in 1951 and we went all the way through school graduating in 1964. After graduation we went our separate ways but found each other again when I moved to Seattle in 1967. We have stayed in touch ever since and whenever I go to Spokane, Washington for a visit or something like conventions or conferences, she opens her house to me. I just spent 10 days with her in the first of August as our graduaton class had a informal reunion (44th) in the form of a potluck picnic. It is so great to get together with fellow classmates at these informal affairs. Next year will be our formal 45th high school reunion and I am looking forward to going and see more of the friends that I graduated with. I have had other friends in my life who I thought were true friends but I have discovered that they were only friends for what I could do for them. I am sure that you all have had friends like this. There will always be warm friendships as long as people care.... As long as they are thoughtful and are kind enough to share. I found my best friend in middle school. Sometimes she is pretty crazy and I wonder why I hang out with her. Part of me thinks it is only because we have been friends so long. But then another part of me thinks that she usually is fun to hang out with and we do enjoy a lot of the same things.

Yes I have. I met my best friend when we were both 5. We met at a neighbors 5th birthday party. We went to school together too but then she went off to college and I got married and started a family. We have remained friends though and keep in touch as much as possible and try to see each other a few times a year.

well thats good for you. im wondering also where's my friends in elementary. i missed them too. i wonder what happened to their life and where are they now.
