My Mam Has Three Tumours

My Mam had to have (can not remember proper name) the camera up her bladder and they found three tumours on her bladder. We are hopeful that it is not cancer because she has not had any blood in her urine. If it is it has been caught early so hopefully it should be ok. Im mainly worried by the fact that there are three of them though.

Hi Donna, i am so sorry to hear your mum is unwell and that you are going through all this worry! Like you say hopefully they have caught it early,they may even be benign, you've just got to try and stay positive for your mum, this must be a really difficult time for you and you'll need your friends around you, i hope you have a good support network around you, as well as your friends here at mylot. Whatever is going on with the bladder, it's known about now and they can start to take positive action, which you've got to think of as a good thing! Try to keep smiling, look after your mum but make sure you're looking after yourself as well! (and the camera thing is called a cystoscopy - just in case it was bugging you) take care chick xxx

Well at least they have identified it now and can treat it as necessary, will be thinking of you, i hope it's something that can be treated relatively easily, although i know you must be upset. take care, i'll be sending healthy thoughts for your mum! xxx

Oh that is so sad, but if they didn't do anything radical at this point then that is a good sign I think you just keep on hoping that she will be ok then maybe the positive vibes will work as well...I know it is a worrying time but there is a lot of good doctors with the answers these days...

She has to have on operation on the 12th and they'll test them I think it is simply a case of wait and see after that. I said she had no blood in her urine but I read that it sometimes can not be seen. I know she handed a sample in when she was at the hospital so if they have found anything they'll tell her when she goes for her op.
