I would like to hear from people who have the Wii fit and how it has impacted your health. Were you active prior to purchasing the fit or were you more towards sedentary? We just purchased the fit and am excited to get using it, I am thinking at minimum it should keep me motivated to reduce that BMI!

Pretty cool!!! Our office purchased one to encourage us employees to monitor our weight as there are number of us getting overweight and the office felt they need to have us physically fit. That is why the office bought one for us to monitor our weight. So far it is being effective as the games and the activity are fun in there.

The BMI calculator is pretty impressive. It definitly has gotten me motivated and is much more pleasant than stepping on the scale! So far my favorite aerobic game is boxing. Very fun!

Previously I just did a 1/2 hour walk each day, now I'm doing 10 minutes of Yoga, 10 minutes of the muscle and 10 minutes of boxing. Two weeks later and I feel better in my self but my giant belly has not shrunk and my weight has remained fairly constant. I guess I need to start cutting back on the daily Redbulls as well. :( I'm keeping at it however, and hopefully in a few weeks time I'll be able to do press-ups with out falling over at the end.

OK, I'll have a go at upping it. I try the Hoola Hoop again, but last time I just failed at it badly. :(

Because I am back and forth to the shore, I haven't been consistent with the fit. The first weekend I was on the thing at least 1 hr a day! Of course I didn't have my kids with me as they stayed at the shore with my husband. Off days I walk about 4 miles. What I like about the fit is the variety of stuff, I like to do 30mins of aerobics, then some strength or balance and end it with yogs. Tomorrow I will do another body test and report back!

Hula hooping is hard work!! I got up to 280 today on the beginner hula hoop. My 10 yr old son is competing with me! Hopefully it will help to flatten my tummy!
