why is it so damn hard to land a job with just an associates degree. not to many employees are impressed. they want to know why i dont have a bachelors degree? i do have credit towards it but damn i have to pay off my first degree to get my second one. i not one of the lucky ones whos family is well off and gets everything. i have to pay for it all myself. i just paid for my own wedding ,and my own car and its just crazy that i work so hard and employees just dont give you the time or day when you know that you are able and great for a position. anyone have any advice on what i can do to make my resume stand out with just an associates degree? i need help with it. lol.

I am not trying to insult anyone's eduction. So no one should take offense. I also do not know what type of degree you have firebird. So I am not trying to offend you either. Some of the "generic" degrees do not carry the same amount of credibility. An accounting degree is better than a business degree. Someone with an accounting degree would qualify for many if not all of the positions that someone with a business degree. However someone with a business degree would not qualify for very many accounting jobs. I am a business owner. If someone applied for a managerial position and the only management experience they have is an associates degree in business or management, they would not have a chance in the world to get the job.

Yu may just have to bite the bullet and go back and get your bachelors. Maybe you can get on with an employer who will pay you to go back and get your bachelors. Alot of times when you are in the system for awhile employers will actually pay for you to go back and get your degree. It is a good deal when you can get it.
