Have you ever heard of elephants holding grudges? Unbelievable, right?! But you're in for a surprise. In a yahoo article today, it stated that a study showed that elephants, just like women, hold grudges. They have the capability to remember things that hurt them. For example, if they are abused or injured by someone/something, they never forget it. A British agency observed the elephants and had found this to be true. Amazing how one trait of a human being is also present in other forms of living things. I know that humans are actually animals- just the highest form, but to think that this implies that elephants have feelings too. Many a time, we disregard the animals as just that- animals. We never really stopped and cared if we hurt their feelings or if they are feeling sad or happy. Well, this article suggest that we may have to do just that- care. Because if not, and we hurt these elephants, they will remember us for the rest of their lives!

yeah i'd be afraid of an elephant holding a grudge on me. ti could just sit on me and kill me. i think i've pretty much always recognized that animals have feelings. i mean i have my dogs and i know pretty much when they're having a good day and how they're feeling when they're not. my friend has fish and he swears that they have behaviors, i've never really thought as fish as anything so i dont believe him. lol.i mean you can kinda tell that animals have feelings.

Yes I have always heard that elephants never forget, especially what has been done to them that hurt them. I hear they are very smart animals also, I did not know that they held grudges, they are animals not humans, but then I guess a animal has feelings too , I know if I correct my dog he looks at me with those eyes. I wonder how many people at the zoo that take care of these animals know that they remember when they hurt them,
