The news is from around April, but I don't know if it was big because I just heard of it now, but this is mind blowing, and I don't even know if I can say if this is good or bad, have we gone too far, or can we benefit greatly by this advancement to "X" out the bad? "The neurons are now being taught to steer the robot around obstacles and avoid the walls of the small pen in which it is kept." "By studying what happens to the neurons as they learn, its creators hope to reveal how memories are laid down." "The brain cells have been taught how to control the robot's movements so it can steer round obstacles and the next step, say its creators, is to get it to recognise its surroundings." Hi, This is very scary advancement in technology. What if someday human created robots that have better brain than human? It would be very dangerous if this technology is used for bad stuff. If the robot can recognize the surroundings and faces of people, the the scenes in iRobot might become real. Maybe robots will take over the world and control human beings. It is quite bad to see such thing happen.
