Have you tried homeopathy, or know someone who has? It works on treating an allergy with the small doses of what you are allergic to - e.g. my drops include animal dander and dust so I hope it stops my allergies to these things and it goes away.

I've used them most of my life & have found them very fast acting, very effective & very cheap. They work by helping us build up a tolerance to the environment we live in that we cannot avoid - or can avoid, but don't want to! They work by taking a copy of the actual substance on an energy level - not the actual substance (that would just make us sick!). They help our bodies to build up resistance naturally & holistically in this way, which has a huge array of other benefits. Sometimes symptoms may temporarily get worse before they get better. This ‘aggravation’ of symptoms can be part of the homeopathic treatment. But you should tell your homeopath if you have these reactions.

I thought, in some cases they actually used a very minute sample of the substance (the smallest drop) and watering it right down so they are just introducing the tiniest amount into your system - I saw them doing this on tv once. Maybe different products/countries have different methods.

This is a common misconception according to Homeopathy Australia's website. I won't post a link to it because it's obvious the AMA "made them" change some things that were not there from years ago to be more in the AMA's favour! Was the one on telly a registered homeopath?

I believe in using homeopathic medicines when available and have used these many times for situations myself. You just need to make sure that what medicines etc. that you are using is not going to interfere with some of your Health medications, etc. and once you find something that works it might not be a Bad idea to keep on doing or using that item as well.

I had to used it in my childhood. I also tried it to to reduce my pain from backache about five years ago. In fact it work very slow. Some people are 'match' with that kind of medicine, but I think it doesn't work good with me. Or maybe I'm the kind that cannot wait and be patient.

thanks nizham2. The homeopath gave me 2 bottles of drops - one for allergies and one for sinus. She said she would like to cure me and if these don't work for me to go back and she will try some other drops, so I just wondered when I will know if they are working or not. Of course it may be different for everyone! We all want it to work straight away though when it comes to our health and pain relief!
