Can you manage without a fan???

No way, I will go to my terrace and will sleep. Life will be too misrble if there is no fan at all. Even in cold season i need fan a lot. Atleast the sund of the fan should be there for me to sleep peasefully. I love fan but I hate AC, it makes me feel sufcating. It makes my breathing impropr.

Me too....especially in a country like india and place like chennai wwe need fans and without it is unbearable.Chennai heat really kills us and above all we have electricity and low voltage problem.Sometimes I even thought of getting battery loaded fan which can last for eight hrs but then never got one.May be next summer I would. I can manage without a fan. One would find that funny because I've lived in a very hot country most of my life and grew up with airconditioning. But I find that I can manage without a fan even during summer.

fan has become a part of life in these many years,even my little being here for 6mths she cant sleep cooly without a fan. Fan has become more important than lights now a days and these powercuts kills us.

I can still manage and live without fans as we still have air-con lols. hehe

The only time that I cannot manage without the fan is when I sleep. It's a must. No matter what the weather, I need the fan.

In New Zealand where we live, there are perhaps two or three days in a year when a fan would be needed because of the heat. Living in most parts of Asia or Africa one needs a fan or for that matter an airconditioner to feel comfortable. Cheers.

Here are the occasions where I manage without the fan. That's because the air is very cooling as my apartment unit is high up. Another time is when there is strong wind, I would turn off the fan, open the front door and let the wind come in as I sit and do my stuff on the study table. Another occasion is when my husband and I sit and watch tv/movie in the living room. The window is very nearby and normally it is night time so the air is again cooling. This helps to save our electric bill alot...........

Yes we manage without a fan, we are in england and find it just ok with out the fan going, we just open the window and let the fresh air come in

hi vidhya, i do the same. i can't be without it. even during the cold days i need the fan. my mother usually switches off the fan after i go to sleep, but the next minute i tell to switch on even in my sleep my mom tells me the next day that i told this in my sleep. i can't be without the fan. that's onething i always want.
