I had my last child at 40 and even though I have more patience and understanding than when I had my eldest at 23 I haven't the same pyhsical energy as I had then so that would really be my upper limit. I know people do have children a lot later in life now but at the same time I don't want to have anymore and put them through the suffering of losing a parent as they age of having to look after an elderly parent instead of being able to go out and have fun with their friends. Thats a really hard question to answer as it changes with time. Years ag oyou were past it if you were over 30. A lady round the corner from me had her final child at the age of 42. It wasn't planned.
