which OS appears best on lcd screens?

well, im using vista in my laptop right now and it is good, in fact very good. but, other people say that mac looks attractive in any type of screens. vista looks great when i pressed the key WIN+TAB... ahehehehehe the graphics is very good but still i want someone to compare and contrast...
