left handed in a bus..?

I travel a lot by bus these days, and not my private transports, as its more eco-friendly and the like.
Anyway, i'm wondering if its worth it, as i usually dont get a seat.lol. Only plus point is, my friends travel with me half way.
Anyway...
While standing in the bus, i used to be right handed, hold the bar or chain with my right hand. But once my friend told me it gives more balance to hold the bar with my left hand. And so true! I have more balance with my left hand, especially if i'm holding books.

I keep shuffling between both my left and right hand when i am standing in a bus. I feel balancing depends on the way we stand. If we stand against the motion of the bus we are sure to loose balance. But if we stand correctly with our legs slightly away from each other the balance would be good.
