Do you bring your cell phone to bed with you?

Cell phones are now considered indispensable gadgets for people. This is brought anywhere, and not left behind. I am one of those who bring their cell phones to bed with them. I place my cell phone usually under my pillow or just beside my pillow because I often receive phone calls in the wee hours of dawn from relatives abroad. I use it also as an alarm clock every morning. What about you? Where do you bring your cell phone?

Yes I take mine to bed with me, it sleeps next to my pillow! Not because I am frightened of missing calls or anything, I use it as an alarm clock to get me up in a morning. However, I have just invested in a proper alarm clock now so I guess that I will no longer need to have it next to me each night.

I don't use my cell phone much except when I travel! Otherwise I leave it on my desk for the most part. I am not much on talking on the phone.

I agree cell phones are becoming very indispensable for people and people seem to be taking them everywhere, they use them to keep in touch with people,to see what time it is,and some people even use them to surf the internet, right now me and my fiance do not have a cell phone because it got ran over by a truck a week or so ago,but even when we had it,we always turned it off when we were at home, because we have a home phone so there is no use to keep it on at the house.

I do bring my phone to bed with me. Actually I got in the habit of this when my husband used to work late at night and he'd call to tell me goodnight. But now that he no longer works late at night, I still keep my phone by my bed, it is used as an alarm clock for my husband and I rarely get a phone call late at night unless its in an emergency. I keep my phone on my nightstand.

Just like you. It acts like my alarm clock - I keep it by the side of my bed beside my pillow.

I try to leave my cell phone as far away from me as possible, whether it is bedtime or not. I know no one in their right mind will call me when I am sleeping, so I don't need any phone with me in bed. My wife brings hers, because she too uses it for an alarm. I don't know why, there is a perfectly good alarm clock right over her head. Cell phone lovers are just plain weird

I bring mine with me too. My sons are gone and I would never want to miss a call from them most importantly. Additionally, all of our business associates call my cell phone so if there is an emergency early in the morning I will be sure to know about it.

I work nights, sleep days. I turn my land line phone down during the day. And keep my cell phone on next to my bed for emergency calls. My family are mostly the only ones that have my cell number and they know to call it if there is an emergency.

hi jenaisle! every weekdays i bring my cellphone to bed with me. its because i use it as my alarm clock and i want it easily within my reach so i can immediately turn it off or snooze it off before the alarm grows louder. ^__^;; during weekends i don't sleep with it beside me since i don't need an alarm clock during those days.

I believe that there has to be a time for myself and some of that time is when I have gone to bed, so my cell-phone gets switched off every night.

Hi there! I agree with you, cell phones are now considered indispensable for a lot of people. I do bring the cell phone to bed with me. But I do not sleep with my cell phone right beside me. I place it on the headboard or the bed's side table. This makes it accessible but not disturbing.

Yes, I do. Why? Well, just in case something happens and I use it as an alarm clock. We got rid of our house phone, so I keep my cell pretty close with 2 teens and a sick mom.

Yeah, I have to bring it to bed, or then I'll not wake up in the next day.. xD I use my cellphone mainly for waking up when it's near the bed, but I also like to message people before sleeping.. Finally, I also listen to podcasts and/or music before sleeping.. It's great. =)
