A lot of responses

Do you ever start a discussion that your almost certain that its not going to get a lot of responses. Then you find out it actually got more then what you thought; or do you think all your discussions are going to get a lot of responses?

I start some discussions thinking i'm gonna get loads of responses piling in it just to get two people seeing the discussion and sometimes i tend to think its just the timing of the questions as well since i've noticed that there is a time when mylot is overall less active.
I get surprised when any of my discussion i start gets more than 10 responses since i ussually average six responses to most of my discussions. So i just got used to thinking that i will get a few responses and it really does surprise me when the number of responses i get proves me wrong

Wow, i can just imagine that, you just have to understand me that i have never had a discussion with more than 20 responses
. Maybe its because i do not start discussions frequently lol. I will be more than glad to get that many responses in my discussion one day. Maybe soon.

I don't ever know what to expect with responses for my discussions- sometimes I get a ton, and sometimes none.

There are instances when I thought that the topics I would work on would generate many responses. These are topics that I thought are interesting and that most people would relate to. But, these are actually the discussions that do not get many responses. It can be disappointing at times but there really is nothing much I can do about it. Then, there are also times when I start discussions that I think are not much interesting but I just wanted to share anyway. To my surprise, these are those that generate many responses. I guess we can't really tell whether our discussions would interest others or not. We will only know once we have posted them and responses start coming in.

I think my discussions would yield a substantial amount of responses, but that is not always the case. I have started discussions, and maybe get one response, then maybe a week or so later someone, will start a similiar discussion, same theme and get loads of responses. I guess it is who you know and how popular you are with your friends.
