We've Decided

That We won't be getting the Wii. Instead were just going to buy a Gamecube. He'll still be getting the 360 though. My fiance at first thought that it wouldn't be fair that he was getting something new and I wasn't. I told him that the games i'd be playing on the wii are available on the gamecube so I might as well be getting those, and maybe later we could trade the gamecube for the wii since it's compatible with gamecube games. So he's content and so am I.
The gamecube costs $30.00 compared to $319.00 if we were to be getting the wii. So now we can get the game system at the same time, and not have to worry about one of us having to wait.
So what do you think? Would you compromise for your fiance or husband?

Yeah I know we have decided to get the GameCube instead of the Wii and I do still think it is a little unfair that I am getting something new and you are getting something used, and I can understand that the games you want to play you can find on the GameCube and maybe later we can get the Wii since the GameCube games are compatible with the Wii,and I know it will help us save money so we do not have to spend as much, and I am very happy and excited that we almost have the X-box 360 Halo Edition, and I just want to make sure you are happy, and I would definitely make a compromise for you,I love you.

Baby,
Well I know we've talked about how you think it's unfair and I hope that I have cleared it up for you because it isn't unfair in the least to me, and I want you to have something you want, just like I want the gamecube! I appreciate the response, and I love you.

I think that's great. First of all, you'll be able to find a Game Cube. They still don't even have them in the stores near me. I had to get one from Florida when I was on vacation and bring it back with me.
We have a ridiculous amount of systems, as well as games(We have a 360 Elite, a Wii, A Playstation 2, and a GameCube). I still play the 360 the most, so you might find some games on there you like as well.
As for your actual question, yes I would compromise. You'll still be able to find games that you like, and you'll be saving a ridiculous amount of money in the process. Enjoy!

exactly! Saving money when spending too much is not needed is great! I appreciate the response, and I hope I can find some games on the 360 as well!

I bought my hubby a PS2 when they were new. He barely used/uses it. A Wii would be a complete waste. My daughter gets to use a Wii when she goes to her cousins. For me I would wait until they become affordable. Nice that you are getting something too.

That's one reason why i'm waiting for the wii because I'm hoping it will go down. Even though $319.00 is a deal compared to some of the prices. That's a price on a online store. My fiance wants the 360 and it doesn't help that it's a halo edition that he wants, but it's a good deal compared to some. Plus, His brother is helping him pay for some of it.
I appreciate the response.
