The DOG is the hero!

Resident heard the baby crying in a field behind his house.
Infant was found in chilly weather with a dog and her newborn puppies.
Doctors determined that the infant was only a few hours old.
The 14-year-old mother came to the hospital but said little about incident.The dog had apparently carried the baby 50 meters from where his mother had abandoned him to where the puppies were huddled. Thank goodness for this dog!
Do you think this teen mom would have come forward on her own?

Oh aren't animals wonderful, I don't think we humans give ebough credit to animals, we tend to use them for our own pleasure and or consumption, this proves and many other stories prove animals have hearts and souls, they should be treated better...

What a great dog!! It's great to hear a happy ending for a change when something like this happens. I hope the baby is doing well and that the dog and puppies have found a good home.
I can't imagine what this girl was thinking or how she managed to be pregnant and no one noticed but I do hope she gets the help she needs. I doubt she would have come forward on her own but probably figured once the baby was found that they'd eventually find her.

Hello ersmommy. Thanks to the dog that the infant is finally saved. I am very happy for the infant, but I also feel very sad for its being abandoned by its immature mother. I hope that the infant will be well taken good care of somewhere by some nice person. Bless the infant.

I think dogs are amazing in so many ways. It really boggles my mind that people in other countries could actually eat such amazing creatures. Granted not all dogs are good, like not all people are good,but they have proven time and time again to be loyal and sensitive creatures and that story doesnt surprise me at all. They dont call dogs man's best friend for nothing.

Reminds me of the story of Pecos Bill. It is nice to hear a story where a baby is saved by a kind hearted animal with mothering instincts. But, oh goodness, a 14 year old mother abandoning a child is a most distressing thought.

That teenager needs to be left naked out in the cold. How cruel. Thank god the dog was there. Obviously it was sent from God to save that baby.
