Today I did something for me.

I was not quite sure what to call this discussion. All summer long, I have been cooped up around the house. If I left the house, it was mostly for work, where I would take my entire paycheck and put it in savings. Other than work, whenever I leave the house, it is to go to places that I would rather not go to. I have gone somewhere that I actually wanted to go maybe three times this summer. I lack a car, so I couldn't do anything about that. School starts this Monday, and I wanted to do something for myself instead of sitting around rotting. So, I went up to the local tattoo/piercing place and got one of my ears pierced twice. It at least gives me something to do.
Have you done something for yourself recently?

hi Valenas, you're really brave, and some sort of idleness. I was busy all this summer for doing projects with my boss, earning money in a part-time job, having a good holiday with my girlfriends and helping my sister to finish her application of college enterance examination. And now I have to prepare for welcome some french professors, who may be my co-advisors.

Sounds like you had a bit of a busy summer. Were the projects for your boss, and the part-time job two different jobs, or one job? It was nice of you to help your sister finish her application. Getting into college can be so confusing! I hope she was accepted to somewhere that she will like to attend.

hi dear valenas good to know that you could spre some time for yourself.
well this has provoked me. i have been rather busy in the last one month with my fathers heart surgery and could not find any time for me personally. now i have decied to take some time off and go to a a movie with friends to ward off some stale feelings!!!

I am glad that you have been there for your father in such a hard time. I went out for a movie as well today, I am not sure if I had mentioned that. It was because my grandmother drove me to get my ears pierced, so I took her to a movie while we were waiting for one of the piercers to get there. I hope that when you and your friends go, you have a good time.
