I remember my first experience with Star Wars alright. No idea of the year, but my dad had just gotten a new stereo system and a betamax. He hooked the beta up to the stereo threw on starwars and cranked the stereo up so high the windows shook, and that's not an exaggeration, my mom was furious with my dad for letting us watch the movie with the sound turned up so high, but I tell you when the Imperial Star Destroyer flew onto the scene and I could feel me chest cave in from the vibrations, THAT was an experience I'll never forget. It made me love scifi.

The first time I saw Star Wars, the original first one, was back when it first opened in theatres in the late 70's (I was born in 72). I don't remember too much about it, other than I REALLY wanted to go see it when at the mall with my mother one afternoon. I wasn't impressed with the movie. But then again, I was a barbie girl. lol. Now it's a different story... I quite like the movies that I've seen, and I have three sons who can tell me all about anything I could ever want to know about Star Wars.

I remember the first time I saw Star Wars Episode IV I was a kid and my uncle had them Episodes IV,V,and VI on VHS and he let me borrow them so I could watch them, and I loved them, and I was so thankful that he got me into Star Wars,I loved the hyperspace travel, and I loved the force powers, and the Jedi lightsabers, and I have watched it several times since, and I hope to watch all the Star Wars movies at least another hundred times.

I don't remember the year because I didn't see it til the second time it came to my town. My sister saw it the first time it came and told me about it. I couldn't wait to see it for myself. It was unlike any movie I had ever seen and I've been a big fan ever since.
