what's the best compliment you have received lately?

the compliment is not really on me, its about the pasta that i made for my hubby. its made of tri-color rotini topped with steamed salmon with sesame-ginger sauce. he always says "yummy" to every meal i prepared but last night, he just seriously said that i could put up my own restaurant, he said that my pasta is a whole lot better than olive garden's,lol. by the way, what ur hubby just said was really sweet.

The best of course is from my family. My husband tell me I'm sexy,beautiful,gorgeous on a daily basis,and best of all he is there for me whatever I should need. My children always say they had the most awesome childhood ever, and now that they are grown up they tell me how beautiful I am and they compare me to their friends mothers,saying they are old and ugly,like they just let themselves go,while I'm 41 and look not a day over 30,am beautiful ect. Another compliment that I recieve all the time when I'm with my kids who are 23&24 ,is from there friends that don't know me. They will say hey,can you introduce me to your sister?Maybe hook me up?. But this one is the best and it made my year....My oldest son and I were shopping and I was by the cash register and he came up and asked if he could get some change from the car for a soda, he called me like hey mom,can I get some change from the car...the cashier just looked at me and said oh my god!! and I was kinda of laughing because she was...she said That's you son? I said yeah..she said oh my god I thought he was your boyfriend!!I was just going to tell you what a nice looking couple you made...needless to say my face turned crimson,I could feel it and I went around to her,gave her a huge hug and told her"you made my year!!!!lol

hey there friend! looks like svet is getting bigger and bigger each day. well, the best compliment i have received lately was from a foreign patient i had few days ago. he was a Korean National who stayed in the resort where i happen to work as a clinic nurse. The patient called up and requested for a remedy for colds and runny nose but opted not to be seen by the doctor. He was so ill that he asked to have the pills be delivered as soon as possible. I called the guest service office but no one answered that I was forced to deliver the medicines personally to his room. I went straight ahead and checked on him. He was a bit feverish with a temperature of around 37.8 centigrade. I advised his significant others to give him a tepid sponge bath. I advised them and at the same time put on notes the instructions on how to take the medicines since they were really having a hard time understanding English. when all was done, the patient himself told me - "THANK YOU, VERY CLEVER NURSE"! i was so happy to ever heard such compliment from a patient who's sick and yet managed to appreciate my effort. that was really so heartwarming!

From my hubby and for the nth time he would always whisper: 'Uhmmm...you look sexy!' (although I'm not that sexy) and winks hahaha... And the next thing will be talking sweet nothings, dining, doing the dishes and turn off the lights...lols! Kinda routine but I don't mind. From my son, yesterday after we did his 'elements table.' After the bonding, he kissed me and said: 'Thanks mom, you're really cool..luv ya!' and smacked. Those were my 2 special men in life.

The best compliment i have recieve lately is my 21 month old son running over to me and giving me a big hug and saying luv mamma... it just makes the world seem worth while ....

That my wound from my pilonidal cyst surgery is healing up okay. I had surgery this last Wednesday for those who were wondering.

Its usuall that all the time i get people and even strangers commenting me that my voice is very sweet i dont feel it as a compliment because im not using my talent in singing.. so i just get irritated if people says so.. but this is not the compliment im going to tell.. actually it was my guy's best friend i havent spoke to her so far,my guy just her to speak to me.. she first was little bit hesitating and spoke to me.. i even dint like to speak to her i dont know what in me fascinated her she is now like she needs me to be with her and she also sent a mail to my saying that im too sweet blah blah when my guy forwrded the mail i just fell on the ground and laughed but i dint know what really made her to say so because i just dont have any good friends around me.. and i was also happy inside me that atleast i have one fan lol..

The best compliment I have received recently was at work, today I was rearranging stock and organising it so it is presentable (also known as merchandising) and someone at work, who used to work in merchandising said I was very good at it. This was a great compliment as she is experienced in this area. It also made me think that I might go into this career area when I am at Uni to get some extra money.

My boss during my appraisal commented that without me he would not have sustained his new job. Its a great complement for me because it came from the person known for never praising his subordinates

mine is from my mom, when i was throwing away shoes to make room for my new ones, my mom complained bitterly for my having too many shoes, keep buying new ones continously. then i answered "better have shoes to throw away than worrying about no shoes to wear" fortunately, this answer received my mom's praise, "you have a point there, that's right" see? in this way, i can have right reason for buying more. i'm really a genius in this matter.

I get told that I should Model thats how good it gets other then that it's u look cute, sexi, hot, the etc. ha ha.. If I don't get compliments people stare a lot ha ha.. Like when I went to Wal-Mart someone was just day dreaming and staring at me hard.. till I looked at them. Then they stop HAHAH. It happen countless times in that store oh well. There People. A lot of people were telling me that I look like Angel Locsin..hehe.. That's a compliment right? hehe.. I feel so beautiful. lolz

My granddaughter told me just yesterday that I had the most beautiful eyes. She even told her boyfriend to look at them and he also said that my eyes were beautiful. Also last week my husband went out for breakfast and while we were waiting to be seated a friend of my husband came over to talk to him and he thought I was my husband daughter. I felt really good .

im new in my work and some supervisor are still assissting me on some of my concern and when they tap on my shoulder saying i've done a good job is something i consider as a complement. it feels good when someone do that.

Hey Hey I love that song too . When I first heard it it made nme think of my fiance . He just has a way of making me feel so pretty and natural ! You know I suppose the best lately has been when My fiance is supporting me and can see the differnce in my when I am losing weight ! Also , it feels so good when other people notice.

Hmmm, the best compliment lately.....that would have to be when a friend looked at me and said, You are just plain weird, woman!*L* And, this morning when my husband looked at me and smiled, kissed me on the cheek and said, "Morning, you old hag!"

its really nice to hear compliments from our loved ones especially from a husband. i too received a compliment from my hubby yesterday. i was wearing a blouse which is quite sexy and he said i look sexy with it. i gain weight since i got pregnant and wasnt able to loss it until now(my baby is already 10mos old). even then he found me sexy. ya its right, that no matter how we look, if our husband loves us, we still could be beautiful in their eyes. but let us not also forget to groom ourselves bot for the sake of our loved ones but for our own sake. gud day.

hi kay, i got a song from my husband too .. but it is in our native language .. but it expresses his love and affection for me ... i am also in a baggy t-shirt knee length t-shirt ... then we danced in the living room .. some crazy steps .. why do i call it a dance ... got a hug too ... for a delicious meal he said .. all i did was .. mix everything from yesterday into one gravy .. and fried a salted fish & fried an egg ..but i fed him like he was my baby .. cheers
