I live in a warm country,so it's common for people to wear sleeveless or shirts with short sleeves...but being bare in public or at home is a big no-no on my part...Maybe it's because of my gender...But males in here usually go on topless when they are at home..^^

As I am female, I wear a shirt. lol But my hubby goes shirtless ocasionally. I really don't see the problem if one is a guy.

When you ask this I assume it is more directed at males than females. I, as a female, do not go bare chested at home and would feel incredibly uncomfortable doing so. Sweating is just part of life. Showers and antiperspirant work well for me. If you are a male, it is more acceptable for you to be topless at home or in public.

well, my apartment is on the second floor. no buildings are next to me
or even close to me.
i live over a dry cleaning and laundry plant. so it adds 10-15 degrees to
an already hot and very humid environment. i do not have whole house
air conditioning. i am fortunate enough to have one unit in my living room
and one unit in my office/computer room.
i wear only underwear. i keep a t-shirt and shorts on the banister going
downstairs if someone knocks at my door.
by and large i'm in only underwear from may through september ! obviously
i spend much more time in those 2 rooms listed above than any other !
