Have you tried khol? eyeliner

Hi everyone.
In my husband's country, the women recommended that i use "kohl" as eyeliner because it's good for the eyes. It's nice and i have tried it. It is also long life, cheap and chemical-free. Have you tried it? Most arab, indian and african women use it. DO you think it is better than the liquid or pencil liner? I wanted to send one to my very modern and vain aunt but i don't know if she will like it.

I have not used real kohl because there has been some concerns for many years about lead contamination in commercially made kohl eyeliners. So I steer clear of it. I do make my own all natural home made eyeliner though, it works great and I love it. I'll never go back to using store bought eyeliners.
