Which one-a mansion amidst the polluted city air or a hut on a peaceful hill?

I don't think I would enjoy living in a mansion, unless I had a small quiet apartment on the top floor. I have lived in a city where there was much pollution and noise, but I prefer clean air and peaceful surroundings. I now live in a very small and simple home on the coast, so I get fresh sea air coming in from my windows. It is located in a town, but in a quiet part and the beach is only two minutes walk from my front door. I do love mountains and I could happily live in a simple hut on a mountain.

A hut on a peaceful hill. I actually love hills and as a H.D.Thoreau fan, would love to lead a simple unadorned life.
